It took a year for Gilles Tremblay and me to schedule a session.
Gilles is the CEO of translation firm Infomonde Inc. . Since the start of the pandemic, they’ve been working around the clock for Health Canada ensuring that indigenous communities have clear public health guidelines in their dialects.
The firm was just awarded a job to translate the Brexit agreement. They were recommended by Global Affairs Canada to the European Commission in Brussels as they translated the NAFTA in 1993, and the USA-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (and some others) in 2016-2019.

Gilles was after a classical-looking portrait with certain aesthetic qualities.
He referenced this portrait I took of Ivan Cavallari. I must say this is the most referenced male portrait used by my clients.

Lighting was Profoto 7A 2400, Elinchrom Deep Octa on the main light, one light was bounced off of a ceiling, ring flash as a fill.
